No matter who you are, chances are something in your life makes you busy- whether that’s kids, work, running a business, etc- sometimes you just need an easy meal (that’s still within your bariatric diet) so you can focus on what’s important while maintaining your post-op healthy lifestyle.

The most prepping you’ll do in this entire bariatric recipe is making the marinade for the pork- we didn’t soak the meat in the marinade, but it’s suggested to let it soak for at least an hour or 2 for even more flavor.

Aside from the marinade, all you have to do is cut the ingredients, put them on a skewer and pop them in the air fryer! Easy weight loss recipe, right?

Y’all… the flavor does not lack either! After bariatric surgery, it can be difficult to find food with lots of flavor that don’t include lots of sugar, msg, or other unhealthy ingredients. Luckily with these air fryer pork kebabs, the flavor from the mango, meat and bell peppers melt in your mouth for the perfect burst of savory & slight sweetness (from the mango). Air Fryer Bariatric Pork Kebabs Recipe

This is the air fryer we used for this recipe ➡️


1 lb pork tenderloin

1 large ripe mango

1 red bell pepper

1 orange bell pepper

¼ cup orange juice

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder


1. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, orange juice and olive oil together to create a marinade.

2. Cut pork and mango into 1” cubes.

3. Cut bell peppers into 1” slices.

4. Mix pork, mango, bell peppers, marinade all together in a bowl.

5. Add 2 pieces of each onto the skewers.

6. Air fry at 400 for 10-12 minutes.

7.  Serve & Enjoy!
