Starting your day with a protein packed breakfast is a great way to to reach your daily protein intake goals. This bariatric breakfast recipe, will have you well on your way. How can you go wrong with eggs, bacon, spinach and cheese?
Ok, let’s talk spinach. We know that not everyone is a fun, but mixed with bacon and cheese, you may hardy notice it. You could also chop it up much more than we did, if that helps.
We have talked meal prep many times before and how it really helps with losing weight after weight loss surgery. If you keep certain healthy protein sources ready, it makes it so much easier to cook and eat healthy.
Take the bacon in this recipe. If you had to cook the bacon every morning, it would add a ton of time to your morning routine. Make it a practice to cook your bacon ahead of time and keep it in the fridge, ready to add to your recipes. You can even buy it precooked, if needed.

You can see that there are less than a handful of ingredients for this bariatric breakfast recipe. Most of these can be used in many of our other bariatric recipes. Check out this link for more bariatric breakfasts.
