Our fast and easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal will start your day with a healthy bariatric recipe! We used one of our kitchen faves, PB2 Powder and threw together this easy and delicious fast breakfast.

We know that mornings can be hard! Trying to rush out the door to get your day started and yes, sometimes we don’t meal prep the night before. This recipe should help with all of that! You see, none of these items have to be refrigerated so we found everyting we needed in our pantry at the office.
So, you can either whip this up before you head out the door, because it really takes 5 minutes or less. Or, if you keep healthy options at your office, you should have everything you need to make a healthy protein packed breakfast.

You can see from the ingredients that everything we had (except the water) came from the pantry. You can add extra protein by using a milk or nut milk, but since we added the protein powder, we chose to just use water.

You can see from the pictures above that there are not many ingredients. We like to keep it simple and we wanted to showcase a very fast bariatric breakfast with easy clean up. Plus, if you keep these items at you desk, it’s great any time of day, especially if you forgot to meal prep or if you did your meal prep and accidently left it at home. Can anybody relate?

Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal
½ cup of quick oats
1 cup water
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp unflavored protein powder
2 Tbsp PB2 powder
1 packet of zero calorie sweetener
Directions
Start by adding all of your dry ingredients into a medium bowl.
Next, pour in the water and whisk ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
Pour ingredients into a microwave safe mug.
Cook in the microwave for 3 minutes, stir ingredients and cook for an
additional 30 seconds (if needed).
Top with a few peanuts and enjoy!
