This recipe for after weight loss surgery is simple and easy! Some bariatric surgery recipes can be more high maintenance, especially in the puree phase, or if you’re trying to recreate another food but in a bariatric version on your own. Not this one! We love this recipe and recommend it whether you are on the gastric sleeve diet, gastric bypass diet, or have had any other weight loss surgery.
If you have never cooked with tofu before, we do suggest you do a little research. You will need to squeeze the excess moisture off of the tofu before you cook it. There are a few different ways to do this.
Just fry the tofu, mix the sauce up and you’re done! Bariatric recipe in a flash.
This recipe is also easily stored for later. Your cooked tofu is good in the fridge for 3-5 days. Just pack up the tofu and the sauce separately and reheat for your meal preps, work lunches, or a quick dinner! So feel free to add this recipe into your meal prep plans to keep you on track.
If you make our pan fried tofu recipe, post, follow and tag WLS Afterlife on social media! We love seeing how our blogs can help bariatric patients continue to make healthy choices and maintain wellness years post surgery. That’s what we’re all about at WLS Afterlife! If you are vegetarian and have some other recipes that you would like to share, we would love to give you a shout-out. Just send us a DM and share your bariatric recipe with us. We do like to mix things up and could always use more vegan or vegetarian options.
