Stove top Cheesesteak

You do not need to miss out on some of your old favorite flavors after weight loss surgery!  We know that eating after bariatric surgery is a huge change.  It takes a lot to used to smaller portions, not drinking while eating, chewing (and then chewing some more) and packing in the protein.  So we try our best to give you great tasting, healthy recipes for your new lifestyle after weight loss surgery.

Check out this A-mazing cheesesteak recipe!  It can be cooked in 1 pan, is a breeze to put together and for those of us focusing on protein intake (and less carbs) it has so much flavor, you won’t miss the bun.  If you are cooking for others, there is enough to share and they can add the bun to theirs.  We know that cooking different meals for different people is an added chore, so we hope this recipe has everyone happy.  If you are cooking for 1, you can cut the recipe in half so there isn’t as much left over.  We had leftovers and heated them up a couple of days later and it was just as yummy as when it was hot off the stovetop.
