Peanut Butter Low Carb Waffles- Yummy!
PB2 Low Carb Waffles A Bariatric Friendly Recipe
Breakfast is arguably the most important meal of the day, but for bariatric patients implementing protein into your diet for every meal is crucial. Start your mornings off with a low carb, protein filled dish, when you recreate our Peanut Butter Protein Low Carb Waffles. This recipe is a great option for VSG diet, Gastric Sleeve diet, Gastric Bypass diet and other meal plans after weight loss surgery.
Warm and fluffy, but don’t let these characteristics fool you into thinking you’re cheating on your bariatric diet. We incorporated powdered peanut butter (PB2) into our waffles which contains a delicious roasted peanut flavor but without the fat and sugar you would get from regular peanut butter.

This recipe has been portioned to meet the bariatric portion standards recommended by doctors or nutritionists and we were able to accomplish this by using our trusted Dash mini waffle maker. If you’re subscribed to our newsletter then you’ve heard us brag on multiple occasions about this product or may have recognized it from some of our recipe videos on YouTube.

Our mini waffle maker is a bariatric must-have because you can use it for so much more than just cooking waffles. Plus it’s mini, which helps with keeping to your bariatric portion size so guesstimating measurements is a limited action for this recipe.
